New Restaurant & Lounge Opens Oct. 6

Last week, I was a guinea pig. Yes, you read that right. I attended a soft opening of the new DINKS Restaurant & Ultra Lounge located on North Palm Canyon.  The sleek new space is gorgeous, very modern and is a perfect mix of casual elegance. The large windows frame the mountains in the background, and the exposed steel and interior design make it a hip place to be.  The outdoor patio has cabanas, large lounge sofas and bar. DINKS has an extensive menu (I had the shrimp wrapped in ham) and if you love martinis and mojitos — then you have to go there.  They will also entertainment… DINKS opens October 6 – check it out www.dinksrestaurant.com

Contemporary, Chic, Modern and Hollywood Glamour…Two New Hotels Scheduled to Open

The landmark hotel – Riviera Resort & Spa will open its doors this October. Its $70 million makeover will feature over 400 rooms, exclusive retail boutiques, lounges, fine dining, pools and the glamour of old Hollwyood www.psriviera.com

Here is an update on restaurants that are back open after a summer hiatus! 

Love Burgers? Check out Tyler’s Burgers located in downtown in La Plaza – they are open again! They close in August and residents & visitors are thrilled they have opened their doors again for the season!  A local’s favorite, this hamburger hut has delicious burgers, sandwiches, and known for their sliders. Sit outdoors and people watch or sit inside at the bar and enjoy a shake.

Want to eat in Cary Grant’s Estate? Known for their contemporary American cuisine, Copley’s on Palm Canyon officially opened Labor Day Weekend. I hear the Lobster Pot Pie is delicious. http://www.copleyspalmsprings.com/default.asp
